About the opportunities

The RS School community regularly recommends its top graduates for hiring at EPAM. Alumni who work in other companies also return to invite new graduates to join their teams.

Most RS School programs take up to a year. The Short Track is an accelerated program designed for students who already possess solid JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and wish to fast-track their skills, complete real-world portfolio projects, and prepare for Junior Front-End Developer positions.

The Short Track course is open to students worldwide! However, direct employment recommendations to EPAM are currently offered only to candidates residing and legally authorized to work in specific target locations. For students outside these regions, the course offers an excellent opportunity to upgrade practical and soft skills, build a strong portfolio, practice peer interviews, and earn an official RS School certificate.

About the course

Format

Self-directed Practical Track: No live lectures, webinars, or basic tutorial materials are provided. The course assumes you already have core knowledge; the goal is to evaluate, sharpen, and validate your existing skills and close knowledge gaps.

Language

100% English (all assignments, technical documentation, chat communication, and interviews).

Mentors and experts

Mentor Interviews: Candidates from employment-supported regions may receive a mock interview with a mentor (subject to mentor availability and candidate performance). Note: Mentor interviews and EPAM hiring interviews may be held offline in certain locations.

Duration

Workload: 20–40 hours per week over 10–11 weeks.

Certificate

After successful completion of the course, students will receive an electronic certificate.

Short Track Stages

The program is aimed at students who are already confident with the basics of programming and are ready to quickly build the skills required for employment. The program includes the following stages:

Program Structure

Our course is designed to identify students who already meet most of the entry requirements for advanced training, or who can quickly close the gaps in their knowledge. It serves as a checkpoint to confirm your technical foundation and readiness to move on to the Framework Course.

Content includes:

  1. Git
  2. HTML/CSS (layout)
  3. TypeScript
  4. Unit tests
  5. Cross-check interview (with students)
  6. Interview with mentor*

*Candidates from employment-supported regions may receive a mock interview with a mentor (subject to mentor availability and candidate performance). Note: Mentor interviews and EPAM hiring interviews may be held offline in certain locations.

Communication happens in a separate Discord server.

Framework Course

Duration: ~3.5 months

High-performing students located in target hiring regions will be assigned an EPAM mentor and enrolled in an advanced Framework Course (React or Angular) to directly prepare for EPAM recruitment.

Poland constraint: Candidates targeting EPAM in Poland will follow the Angular track based on local market demand.

Students outside target locations can also enroll in the Framework Course to continue independent practice. Mentor assignment for this group will depend on overall mentor capacity.

Target Locations & Legal Document Requirements for EPAM Hiring

Eligible Locations & Documents

Direct employment recommendations to EPAM are available exclusively to students residing in target regions with full legal work authorization:

  • Georgia: Georgian Citizen Passport required.
  • Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan: With local work authorization.
  • Poland: EU long-term residence permit (Karta rezydenta długoterminowego UE), Permanent residence card (Karta stałego pobytu), Polish citizenship, or Temporary residence card (Karta czasowego pobytu) with work permit endorsement (dostęp do rynku pracy).
  • Turkey: Turkish Citizenship or valid work permit.

Qualification & Performance Requirements

To qualify for mentor support and EPAM recruitment pipelines, students must:

  1. Course Performance: Successfully pass the Short Track program and demonstrate strong proficiency in Core JS/TS fundamentals.
  2. Language Skills: Hold an English level of B1 or higher (B2 recommended).
  3. Offline Readiness: Be prepared to attend mock and technical interviews in-person (offline) if requested by local recruiters.

Students outside target regions are welcome to complete the course, earn a certificate, and build their portfolio without hiring support.
